For a country girl, Erin Ollis takes sweet ‘n’ sassy to a whole new level. You can see it in the singer/songwriter’s fashion choices—flirty dress, or cowboy boots and jeans, doesn’t matter. You hear it with her memorable voice—tender softness draws you in, soaring power gives you goose bumps.
Given her vocal prowess and down-to-earth
authenticity, she has been compared
to Carrie Underwood and Martina McBride.
“Erin has great range and powerful vocals,”
says Patrice Peris, former vocal coach at
Bristol Entertainment in Boston.
“But what I love most about her is her
fearless drive. She takes on every challenge
with a smile.”
Erin's first produced single "A Couple
Miles Away", is available on iTunes.
With a country/rock feel, Erin expresses herself
through her dark and smoky vocal range with
a transition into her powerful high vocal range.
A passionate performer, Erin has charmed audiences at dozens of festivals, talent shows, and fundraisers. She earned “Female Vocalist of the Year” for Massachusetts at the New England Country Music Organization Star Search. Next stop was the North America Country Music Association’s competition in Tennessee, where she walked off with the 2012 Future Star Female Vocalist of the Year award.
Other highlights: Performing at the New England Patriots Superbowl Pre-Party in Minnesota. Performing the National Anthem for the New England Patriots, Opening for Eli Young Band at Indian Ranch, opening for Chris Cagle at Toby Keith's Bar and Grill, performing live on FOX 25 News as 1 of the top 3 contestants for "Boston Idol," singing the National Anthem at the DCU Center in Worcester, performing at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill in Foxboro, performing at Jerry Remy's in Boston and belting it out live on WWLP Channel 22 News.
Born and raised in central Massachusetts, Erin has been singing classically (sometimes in German) since fifth grade. Her life changed during a fateful trip to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Resorts, where her high school choir had been selected to sing with the “The Gambler” himself, Kenny Rogers. Inspired by the country legend, she picked up a guitar, started writing songs, and never looked back.
